Hey! Welcome to my second blog! Exciting times!
Well, in this blog I will be talking about dance injuries, because this week I have pulled all the muscles right down the inside of my leg! It’s so painful and I don’t even know how I did it?! Although dance is great fun and it feels amazing, when you hurt yourself, you hurt yourself!
I remember once I was doing Ballet for one of my dance exams, and we were doing a jump - I don’t know what it’s called so don’t ask! - but we had to jump, twist and stick our leg out. And trust me to be to one that pulls my butt muscle. Yes, my butt muscle. It hurt so bad I had trouble sitting on it, and this lasted for about 3 weeks! If you have any injury related stories then send them in, cause I would love to laugh - I mean read them.
Some dance injuries can be really serious though, to avoid them always warm up and stretch out at the end! Seems daft but seriously, if you’re a dancer trust me, it helps!

Don't push it son!^
Hey guys! Just a little intro into my dance blog! I would love it for you guys to comment or email us - teentalkblog@gmail.com - on what you want me to talk about! It can be anything! From the Harlem Shake to the dancing pony, you name it, I’ll do it! I will update my tab of the website every Monday and Thursday, that way I can keep you entertained and keep up with my school work at the same time.
So, my first dance piece! I’m sure you’ve all heard of the Harlem Shake, well, there’s been a load of people in my school who have been talking about doing a massive Harlem Shake in the centre of town. I mean, personally, I don’t see the appeal, but if you wanna ‘shake dat thang’ in a public place, then go for it! If you don’t know what the Harlem Shake is then listen up! On the basic side of things, it’s where one person starts to dance and other people start joining in! Was funny to begin with, I agree, but now, just no.
Anyway, that’s it for today’s update. Sorry it’s so short, but it’s my first one and I wanna know what my audience want from me!
Cheeers!
